Hello! My name is Shannon Kirby and I'm so excited to get to work with all of our amazing participants! I am a sophomore
Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics major and Spanish minor from Ellicott City, Maryland. I enjoy reading and running
whenever I get the chance. I can’t
wait to adventure back down to Topsail, NC to see the amazing people (and
turtles) at the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center. Last
year it was incredible meeting all of the amazing and dedicated individuals
working to make a difference for the environment, and I am excited to share all
that we learned with a whole new group of volunteers.
